Muslims and Jesus

What are the Muslims’ beliefs concerning the Messiah ‘Eesa ibn Maryam?. hAnswer:Praise be to Allaah.
Our beliefs concerning the Messiah ‘Eesa ibn Maryam (Jesus the son of Mary – peace be upon him) are those indicated by the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of our Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
We believe that ‘Eesa (peace be upon him) was one of the slaves of Allaah, and one of His noble Messengers. Allaah sent him to the Children of Israel to call them to believe in Allaah alone and worship Him alone.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And (remember) when ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), said: ‘O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allaah unto you, confirming the Tawraat [(Torah) which came] before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad.’ But when he (Ahmad, i.e. Muhammad) came to them with clear proofs, they said: ‘This is plain magic’”
[al-Saff 61:6]
“But the Messiah [‘Eesa (Jesus)] said: ‘O Children of Israel! Worship Allaah, my Lord and your Lord.’ Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with Allaah, then Allaah has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers”
[al-Maa’idah 5:72]
‘Eesa was not a god or the son of God as the Christians claim.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Surely, they have disbelieved who say: ‘Allaah is the Messiah [‘Eesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary).’”
[al-Maa’idah 5:72]
“And the Jews say: ‘Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allaah, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allaah. That is their saying with their mouths, resembling the saying of those who disbelieved aforetime. Allaah’s Curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth!”
[al-Tawbah 9:30]
The first words that ‘Eesa spoke when Allaah caused him to speak when he was in the cradle were (interpretation of the meaning):
“He [‘Eesa (Jesus)] said: ‘Verily, I am a slave of Allaah, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet’”
[Maryam 19:30]
We believe that Allaah supported him with miracles that proved he was speaking the truth.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“(Remember) when Allaah will say (on the Day of Resurrection). ‘O ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Remember My Favour to you and to your mother when I supported you with Rooh‑ul‑Qudus [Jibreel (Gabriel)] so that you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and when I taught you writing, Al‑Hikmah (the power of understanding), the Tawraat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel); and when you made out of the clay, a figure like that of a bird, by My Permission, and you breathed into it, and it became a bird by My Permission, and you healed those born blind, and the lepers by My Permission, and when you brought forth the dead by My Permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from you (when they resolved to kill you) as you came unto them with clear proofs, and the disbelievers among them said: This is nothing but evident magic’”
[al-Maa'idah 5:110]
We believe that ‘Eesa was born from the Virgin Maryam with no father, and that is not impossible for Allaah Who, when He wills a thing, says “Be!” and it is.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Verily, the likeness of ‘Eesa (Jesus) before Allaah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: ‘Be!’ — and he was”
[Aal ‘Imraan 3:59]
“(Remember) when the angels said: ‘O Maryam (Mary)! Verily, Allaah gives you the glad tidings of a Word [‘Be!’ — and he was! i.e. ‘Eesa (Jesus) the son of Maryam (Mary)] from Him, his name will be the Messiah ‘Eesa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), held in honour in this world and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are near to Allaah.”
He will speak to the people, in the cradle and in manhood, and he will be one of the righteous.’
She said: ‘O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me.’ He said: ‘So (it will be) for Allaah creates what He wills. When He has decreed something, He says to it only: “Be!” and it is’”
[Aal ‘Imraan 3:45-47]
We believe that he permitted to the Jews some of the things that had been forbidden to them.
Allaah tells us that ‘Eesa said to the Children of Israel (interpretation of the meaning):
“And I have come confirming that which was before me of the Tawraat (Torah), and to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden to you, and I have come to you with a proof from your Lord. So fear Allaah and obey me”
[Aal ‘Imraan 3:50]
We believe that he did not die and his enemies the Jews did not kill him, rather Allaah saved him from them and raised him up to heaven alive.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And because of their (Jews) disbelief and uttering against Maryam (Mary) a grave false charge (that she has committed illegal sexual intercourse);
And because of their saying (in boast), ‘We killed Messiah ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allaah,’ — but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but it appeared so to them the resemblance of ‘Eesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man)], and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)]:
But Allaah raised him [‘Eesa (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allaah is Ever All‑Powerful, All‑Wise”[al-Nisa’ 4:156-158]
We believe that he told his followers of the coming of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
We believe that he will come back down at the end of time, and will disprove the claim of his enemies the Jews that they killed him, and will disprove the claim of the Christians that he is God or the son of God, and he will not accept anything from them but Islam.
Al-Bukhaari (2222) and Muslim (155) narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “By the One in Whose hand is my soul, soon the son of Maryam will descend among you [according to another report: the Hour will not begin until the son of Maryam descends among you] as a just judge. He will break the cross, kill the pigs and abolish the jizyah, and money will become abundant until no one will accept it.”
“Soon” means it will inevitably happen quickly.
“will descend among you” means among this ummah.
“A just judge” means that he will come down and rule according to this sharee’ah, and that this sharee’ah will remain and not be abrogated, rather ‘Eesa will be one of the rulers of this ummah.
“He will break the cross and kill the pigs” means he will declare as false the religion of the Christians by breaking the cross in a real sense and proving false the Christians’ claims and veneration of the cross.
“and he will abolish the jizyah”:
al-Nawawi said:
The correct view concerning this is that he will not accept it, and he will not accept anything from the kaafirs but Islam. If any of them offer the jizyah that will not make him stop fighting them. Rather he will not accept anything but Islam or death. This is the view of Imam Abu Sulaymaan al-Khattaabi and other scholars (may Allaah have mercy on them).
End quote.
“Money will become abundant” – the reason for this abundance will be the descent of blessings and the spread of goodness because of justice and the absence of oppression or wrongdoing. At that time the earth will bring forth its treasures, and desire to keep money will decrease because they will know that that Hour is at hand.
Then he will die and the Muslims will offer the funeral prayer for him and bury him.
Ahmad (9349) narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I am the closest of people to ‘Eesa ibn Maryam because there was no Prophet between him and me…” Then he mentioned his descent at the end of time. Then he said: “And he will remain for as long as Allaah wills he should remain, then he will die and the Muslims will offer the funeral prayer for him and bury him.” Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah (2182).
We believe that he will disavow himself on the Day of Resurrection of the claims that he was a god.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And (remember) when Allaah will say (on the Day of Resurrection): 'O ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto men: Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allaah?’ He will say: ‘Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, You would surely have known it. You know what is in my inner‑self though I do not know what is in Yours; truly, You, only You, are the All‑Knower of all that is hidden (and unseen).
Never did I say to them aught except what You (Allaah) did command me to say: Worship Allaah, my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them; and You are a Witness to all things’”
[al-Maa'idah 5:116-117]
“ ‘Never did I say to them aught except what You (Allaah) did command me to say: Worship Allaah, my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them; and You are a Witness to all things’”
[al-Maa'idah 5:116-117]
This is what the Muslims believe about the Messiah ‘Eesa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him).
Al-Bukhaari (3435) and Muslim (28) narrated from ‘Ubaadah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever bears witness that there is no god but Allaah alone, with no partner or associate, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger, and that ‘Eesa is His slave and Messenger, a word which Allaah bestowed upon Maryam and a spirit created by Him, and that Paradise is real, and Hell is real, Allaah will admit him through whichever of the eight gates of Paradise he wishes.”
We ask Allaah to make us steadfast in faith and to cause us to die as believers.
May Allaah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad.Islam Q&A

The Prayer and the Importance of Prefaces(written by Maysam Ghasemi)

In the Name of God As we've been created for eternity and we are going to finnish this life,we should take supplies for afterlife.According to the holy Quran and traditiion the most necessary provision for everyone's afterlife will be the "justifuied prayer". Based on the verses of the holy Quran and tradition a justified prayer is the one wich is said with presence of mind and to have presence of mind while saying prayers we should do the prefaces of prayer such as taking ablution , saying supperogatory prayers and Azan & Eghamah with presence of mind to be able to say the main prayers this way nevertheless we find ourselves praying and thinking to everything and everyone eccept for God. The first step of prefaces of the prayer in which we should have presence of mind, is taking ablution. The final goal of inacting this deed as a preface of prayer is not just clarity while praying but also it's been ordered to remind us the incidents of the day of judgment and to make us ask for something that we need for that day from God ; the day in which some faces are blackened and some are whitened as a sign of being hellish and paradisical. Some people are given their deeds' report cards to their right hands and others are given to their left hands as a sign of being paradisical and hellish . Some people are allowed to pass the "Serat Bridge" to the paradise while others' feet slip and they fall from there to the hell , based on theirown deeds on the earth . And when we remember these devine promises we naturally ask God to whiten our faces that day while washing our faces and to give us our deeds' report cards to our right hands while washing our right hands and not to give them to our left hands that day while washing our left hands . And to make us tight not to fall to the hell while passing the bridge and to let us enter the paradise that day while wetting our heads and feet . such an ablution would be an eligible preface for prayer and can prepare us to pray . The next step of prefaces in wich we should have presence of mind in order to perform the main prayer with the same quality is saying superogatory prayers which was obligatory to the prophet Mohammad (P.P.U.H) and an emphasized recommended one for us . The prescription of this prayer is saying a "two units prayer" before the morning prayer and four "two units prayer" before the noon and the afternoon prayer and two "two units prayer" after the evening prayer stood and a "two units prayer" after vespers seated. If you could succeed to have presence of mind while saying these thirty four units of prayer (counting the last one as a one unit prayer) , then you are prepared to keep it while saying the main obligatory seventeen units of prayer. The last step of prefaces of prayer in wich we should have presence of mind is saying "Azan & Eghamah". When you profess truly that the God is the greatest for ten times and there is no devinity except for God for seven times and when you invite people to the prayer and introduce it as the salvation and the best deed for four times by shouting Azan & Eghamah you are notifying you and others that you are going to talk to the highest existent - God - with the best means - prayer - which is performed with presence of mind. Although the main prayer and its prefaces such as taking ablution, saying superogatory prayers and Azan & Eghamah with presence of mind are good suplies for afterlife even with the attention of earning the paradise and avoiding the hell , I think based on a story from Amir-ol- moemenin (P.B.U.H) the best slaves pray their master with presence of mind just in order to earn his satisfaction, the way which deserves him and will definitly imply the same result and will bring them near the God in the paradise and will avoid them from the hell and evil.

Islam & violence

Islam & violence

Author: Hafizullah Asghari
Violence is one of headline which negotiates western people about it.
In 21th century there is a great numerous of argument about Islam and violence; in many societies people think that Islam causes a lot of difficulties such as jihad, suicide & bombing.
I can say that many people in many countries think that Islam causes the violence.
They (especially atheist) Imagine Islam causes violence & people often kill other human beings because they believe that the creator of the universe wants them to do it (the act will ensure them an eternity of happiness after death). Examples of this sort of behavior are practically innumerable, jihadist suicide bombing being the most prominent.
Western people say that Quran Introduces God very rough, Vindictive & Violence while God is introduced in Bible Very gentle, kind & merciful.
Is this the reality that holy Quran Introduces God As western people says?! Of course not
I answer that God has two traits:
1. God is kind & merciful.
2. God has the trait of wrath.
The first trait for God is kindness & the second one is wrath, it means that the kindness is the first & before anger and wrath, there must be reason to become angry. Hence fist of all our God is kind & merciful at the second time he will retaliate those who don`t obey the Islamic law based on wisdom, Islam must punish the cruelty persons firmly in special points because expediency of society.
Violence mixed to nature of every creature
As you know the violence is at nature of every creature among of creature is human being, we can find violation during the history of human being, nowadays we can find violation in every society with any kinds of religion & we can`t deny it.
Instate of denying violence it is better to ask what can we do with violence? Is it possible to get violence at our service?
I can say yes, it`s completely possible. In order to get the violence at our service we should refer to Islamic laws & commandments.
As you know Islam is the best religion & the complete way of life, all of Islamic laws are based on wisdom. Islam is the religion which is sent by God, God creates the mankind, hence he completely knows the action & behavior of human, he knows how can make security to a society. That is why Islam established law against criminals to control violation and wild people in order not to loss another.
So Islam doesn`t completely support violence, and Islam is not completely against violence, Islam got the violence at the service of people, as we have many examples during the history of Islam.
Muslims don`t believe violence at first time, but it doesn`t mean that we blame violence for controlling violence in order not to tyrannize, it is ok if use violence to prevent cruelty, murders, aggression & violation.
Action of Islam over heresy
When we take a look at Islamic sources we immediately understand that Islam completely accepts the legal violence.
The action of our innocent leaders (Aemmah P.B.U.TH.) especially Imam Ali & Imam Husain confirm it clearly.
Islam invites all of human being to guidance & salvation but the capitalist were always against Islam & prophet. They used different kinds of violation to prevent prophet from preaching & to prevent the ordinary people from guidance.
In order to broadcast Islamic religion it is unavoidable to fight against these kinds of dictators, it shows that Islam is the religion of kind and merciful, at second time if any one threat the security of people he/she must be controlled and must be punished.
Action of Islam over criminals
Freedom means: The right to do what you want without being controlled or restricted by the government, police etc.
Violence means: behavior that is intended to hurt other people.
Any one of freedom & violence has exceptions; we don`t have freedom in every fields and no body allow to violate any where, one of the exceptions for violence is that if some body commit a crime or threat the security of ordinary people he/she must be controlled, it means violence but this kind of violence is not forbidden, because the violence is to behave roughly against the right of other persons controlling these kinds of persons are not violence, if a government behave him/her kindly it means that government confirm criminals & encourage them to do a lot of crimes.
At last I can say: as a Muslim that Islam doesn`t cause the violence at the contrary I can say that Islam controlled the violence & got the violence at service of people.

Woman`s right in Islam

In the name of God
Woman`s right in Islam
If we take a look at history of woman`s right in many developed countries which support woman`s right nowadays women were not respected as a human at the period of history E।g। In Greece ancient & Byzantine the woman were not respected as a man kind।
Woman`s right in Greece
In Greece ancient people thought that women were wretch existent & they were ok only for working in home. If a woman births an incomplete or ugly baby they used to kill that woman.
The girls must obeyed her parents while she was a child, while she become young she must obeyed her husband, when she had been divorced she should obey her son, if she didn`t have any son she must obey another members of her relatives. It shows that women didn`t have right & weren`t worthy, they soled women very easily.
Unfortunately this was not the mentality of ordinary people the philosophers had the same Ideas for example Socrates (one of the famous philosopher) thought that behavior with woman is a kind of torture or pain like poison that is suitable for ownership.
There was in expression which said: (المرأة حیوان طویل الشعر قصیر الفکر) woman is a kind of animal with long hair and lacking foresight.
Aristotle says: woman is follower of man it made the woman with no decision, I am happy that I am not slave & woman.
It means that woman is like slave and man most behave to woman like slave.
Woman`s right in Italy
In Byzantine the women were not behaved as a human, the thought that they were things, after death they were inherited like another properties.
They behaved with woman like animals, they have idiom like this: "We can`t call a donkey as a horse & can`t call a woman as a human".
Woman`s right at the time of Ignorance in Saudi Arabia
At the conclusion I can say there isn`t any different between Eastern & Western countries in woman`s right both of them took a pitiable look at woman. And both of them did not take a look at woman`s right.
In Greece country men could lend the woman to any one and the woman did not inherit.
The woman was worth nothing in Saudi Arabia before Islam and they buried the girls while they were alive.
Woman`s right before Renaissance
There were a lot of differences between woman`s right before Renaissance revolution & after it; If we take a look at woman`s right before Renaissance revolution we will understand that they didn`t act the woman like a mankind. E.g. Germanys thought that a woman alone is the source of mischief, hence the relationship between man & woman is based on benefit of man; because of this mentality they didn`t valuate the agreements which were against man & these kinds of contracts weren`t reliable because they were against the man`s right.
At the contrary if a woman had fornicated it is man`s right to strip that woman & dislodge her off the village.
Woman`s right in England
In England the woman didn`t have right to marriage, all of her properties & incomes were for her husband because the men were powerful because of this only reason the men must be respected
Before Islamic revolution of Iran nobody thought about woman`s right and asked about woman`s right but after Islamic revolution of Iran there is a new negotiation about woman`s right and the question of relationship between Islam and woman`s situation become more acute. Some feminist researchers hold that Islam could be defined as one of the worst sorts of patriarchal religion, oppressing women and legitimizing gender inequality.
In western countries they usually ask what is the relationship between Islam and woman`s right? In western countries feminists think it is harsh if a woman is under protection of a man.
When we compare the woman`s right between Islam & any other religion or any other culture we immediately understand that Islam completely support woman`s right & after appearance of Islam they achieved great values; like individual right & social right; woman become equal to man as holy Quran says:
من عمل سیئة فلا یجزی الا مثلها ومن عمل صالحا من ذکر أو انثی وهو مؤمن فأولئک یدخلون الجنة یرزقون فیها بغیر حساب (غافر/40)
"He that works evil will not be requited but by the like thereof: and He that works a righteous deed - whether man or woman - and is a Believer- such will enter the Garden (of Bliss): therein will they have abundance without measure.
The holy Quran is not only for guidance of men but for guidance of people:
شهر رمضان الذی انزل فیه القرآن هدی للناس (بقره/185)
Ramadan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an, as a guide to mankind.
There is another verse in Quran which confirms this matter:
الرحمن * علم القرآن * خلق الانسان * علمه البیان [الرحمن/1 - 4].
The holy Quran came because of purity and chastity of soul and there is no difference between man & woman in soul but there are physically differences between man & woman. There are no deference between man & woman in Humanity but the differences are in other characteristics.
1. Equality in humanity
God created man & woman and donated the world to live. Both of them have cooperation to each other on the way of life in any kind of difficulties.
The man is rough, strong & powerful, the woman is weak, and she needs the man to support and defend her from any kinds of danger.
That`s why Islam divided duties to out & inside home.
The man must work out of home in order to supply the expenses of home because he is enough powerful to resist against dangers and can do difficult works.
The woman`s activities are limited in to inside home she has great responsibility in side home; she takes care of children and trains them who are going to be mothers & fathers in future in society.
At the other contrary she is not responsible for expenses of family the man should supply what the members of family need.
This division is based on wisdom of creature of these two genders. It doesn`t mean that woman can`t have any activity outside home; we have a lot of women in the history of Islam who had great activities in social & political fields in society. It means if a woman has ability to work out side home she can, & it is not forbidden by Islamic law.
Equality means: The state of having the same rights, opportunities, etc. as everyone else.
In Islamic view of point women are equal to men in humanity, our Islamic sources like verses of holy Quran & traditions confirm it.
There is a verse in holy Quran which says:
یا أیها الناس إنا خلقناکم من ذکر وانثی وجعلناکم شعوبا وقبائل لتعارفوا ان اکرمکم عند الله اتقیکم ان الله علیم خبیر (حجرات 13)
O Mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and Tribes, that ye may know Each other (Not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the Most honored of you in the sight of Allah is (He who is) the Most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (With all things).
In this verse the holy Quran addressed both men & women by word "الناس" (mankind); it shows the equality of male & female.
We have another verse in Quran which says:
والذین یؤذون المؤمنین والمؤمنات بغیر ما اکتسبوا فقد احتملوا بهتانا واثما مبینا (احزاب/ 58)
And those who annoy believing men and women undeservedly bear (on themselves) a calumny and a glaring sin.
And those who annoy believing men and women undeservedly bear (on themselves) a calumny and a glaring sin.
And the other verse says:
من عمل صالحا من ذکر أو انثی وهو مؤمن فلنحیینه حیاة طیبة ولنجزینهم أجرهم بأحسن ما کانوا یعملون (نحل/ 97)
Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, while he/she has Faith, Verily, to him/her will we give a new life, a life that is good and pure and we will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions.
These holy verse means that the man & woman are equal to each other in faith and act, & the holy Quran didn`t prefer any one to another.
In another chapter there is a verse which says:
فاستجاب لهم ربهم انی لا اضیع عمل عامل منکم من ذکر أو انثی بعضکم من بعض فالذین هاجروا واخرجوا من دیارهم واوذوا فی سبیلی وقاتلوا وقتلوا لاکفرن عنهم سیئاتهم ولادخلنهم جنات تجری من تحتها الانهار ثوابا من عند الله والله عنده حسن الثواب (آل عمران/195)
In this verse our lord mentioned that when a person does righteousness our Lord Doesn`t waste his/her action whether to be a man or a woman.
These kinds of verses show that no different between these two genders in humanity, both of them are equal.
2. Equality in ownership
A woman can sell and buy (to deal).
The holy Quran says:
للرجال نصیب مما ترک الوالدن والاقربون وللنساء نصیب مما ترک الوالدن والاقربون مما قل منه أو کثر نصیبا مفروضا (نساء/7)
Who can be better in religion than one who submits His whole self to Allah, does good, and follows the way of Abraham the true In Faith? For Allah did take Abraham for a friend.
This is opposed to ignorance & western countries before middle aged, the woman can obtain her portion.
Don`t forget that woman is not responsible to spend her income for family; she can save her properties while the man (her husband) is responsible to pay what she expend.
Most of the time western people say that doesn`t observe the woman`s right. They say some thing like these because the don`t have any information about Islam.
In some points, Islam prefers man but in some other cases it prefers woman based on the wisdom & philosophy.
At conclusion I can say there is equality between these two genders.
3. Equality in training
Islam takes great attention of training education for both men & women, and doesn`t prefer any one to another.
Islam emphasize on training woman as training man. Islam stresses on training woman because of many factors:
1. Women are half of society, if culture of a society increases all or most of population must be educated. Women are substructure of the society because they train children – who grow up and become effective members of society – in childhood. If a trainer is uneducated how would be the destiny of the trained person? Because of this important factor females must be educated.
2. As I mentioned at first point, women are members of society, she must live in society and can trade (buy and sell goods), they can take part in different field of political & social matters. Nowadays the life is going to be technical, if they want to be successful in their activities they must be trained & educated.
All of Muslims agree to educate woman, the view point of Islam about training & educating female shows equilibrium of man & woman.
3. The woman can be a merchants like man I mentioned at second point that every things in our life is technical nowadays especially business because there are a lot of equipments & facilities in our life. If she wants to be successful in her trade she must be educate, as it confirms in holy Quran:
الذي علم بالقلم [ علق 4 ] * علم الانسان ما لم يعلم [ علق 5 ]
The mankind who is mentioned in this verses include two genders; both man & woman.
We have also:
أمن هو قانت ءاناء الیل ساجدا وقائما یحذر الاخرة ویرجوا رحمة ربه قل هل یستوی الذین یعلمون والذین لا یعلمون انما یتذکر اولوا الالباب (زمر/9)
Is one who worships devoutly during the hour of the night prostrating Himself or standing (in adoration), who takes heed of the Hereafter, and who places His hope In the Mercy of His Lord - (Like one who does not)? Say: "Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? it is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition.
And we have tradition like: "طلب العلم فريضة على كل مسلم ومسلمة".
This tradition mentions directly both two genders, and the word "مسلمون" the general description for man & woman.
Conclusion
At the conclusion I can say that before Islam & after Islam in another nations the woman were not respected & they didn`t behave like human, they were sold like any other animals.
After Islam the women found their position in society, they respect as a human they have the equal right to man.

divorce

Expanding of bareness is indeed, one of the effective reasons of divorce. Freedom in coming and going of young men and women friendly has rudeness results for society.
While men and women stay beside each other in marriage celebration, meeting and etc. and they look the body of each other what we should expect, except divorce.

sexchanging

You know by improvement of science and knowledge has found some new questions. Finding useful answer for these questions is necessary.
One of those questions is the problem of sexchanging, which FOGHAHA (LEARNED) have talked about it within new questions.
Fortunately this argument, sexchanging, has known very well by Shiite Foghaha.
Some doctors say, one in a week change his or her sex.
I mean: by this action, if he is man he will become woman and if she is woman she will become man.
A lot of surgical operation of exchanging have took placed in a lot of countries both Moslem and no Moslem countries.
